The U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) creates, on an industrial level, malware to infect computer hard disk drives (HDDs) solid-state drives (SSDs) and firmware.

This spyware allows government agencies to infect computers without detection.

Once a drive’s model has been determined its code is used to instal malware. This requires knowledge of the source code of all the major manufacturers firmware, which has either been given to government agencies, or has been decyphered by them. Some codes are shared by multiple manufacturers, according to McAfee.

Disk encryption is bypassed by hiding stolen data in the invisible storage space on the hard drive.

Software updates are no defense, as the malicious code remains untouched, and can restore all malicious components that got wiped from the system.

Countries most attacked by NSA malware are Iran, Russia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Mali, Syria,Yemen, and Algeria. The targets included government and military institutions, telecommunication companies, banks, energy companies, embassies nuclear researchers, media, universities and Islamic activists. (Kaspersky research).

Among the vendors targeted are Seagate, Western Digital, Toshiba, Hitachi, Maxtor, IBM, and Samsung.

McAfee have analyzed a sample of the malicious module for Windows and said that there is evidence that variants for other platforms have also been created.

Of course, the NSA not guilty of such activity, when former CIA agent Jeffrey Sterling was convicted for espionage for revealing the federal government’s role in developing the Stuxnet virus to New York Times journalist James Risen in 2006, he was arrested for a “known unknown”.

“Not much happens in Russia without Vladimir Putin,” President Obama said on 16 December, 2016.

Hackers associated with Russian intelligence agencies were accused of stealing files from the Democratic National Committee so as to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. Mainstream media screamed: “worse than Watergate,” a “frightening” event, pondered if it constitutes an “act of war,” and decried “intervention” in American domestic politics, without mentioning the American governments “regime change” strategies in at least 80 countries since 1953. In 1965, Indonesia’s democratically elected government was overthrown by the CIA and replaced with a military dictatorship which is estimated to have killed as many as one million people.

Only the most worm-infested mind could so hypocritically defend doing itself what it labels reprehensive in others, and only the most slavish of media outlets (including the BBC) could claim its “news” has not been written by the NSA.

The BBC sing from their master’s hymn sheet: “Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to help Donald Trump win the presidential election, a US intelligence report says. The unclassified report says the Russian leader “ordered” a campaign aimed at influencing the election”.

No disussion.

No analysis, just the pumping out of the same one-side-of-the-coin shit. (Newsnight = one-side-of-the-coin shit).

Not much happens in America without President Obama, and that will be the same for his successor, who is already being castigated for hinting that the American Intelligence Agencies (known and unknown) do not always tell the truth.

Better learn to play their game, Donald.

They already control your hard drive.

You next.

Do not go to Dallas.
