It is an illusion that you can ever escape.
It is like being in room 101 in the Europa Hotel, and complaining to the manager of excessive noise from the crowds outside. He says, “OK, I see that you have a problem, here are the keys for room 102”. “But it is still too noisy”, you protest. “OK”, replies the manager, wearily, “let’s give you some time to think about which other room will suit you best; your choice is either room 100 or room 102”. You turn to your family and say, “we must not be too hasty, we do not really wish to leave this hotel, all our friends are here, so I will negotiate the very best deal”. After what seems an eternity, you return to your expectant family and declare, “I’ve got an agreement tailored to our needs, it’s room 102, with black-out curtains and ear plugs thrown in for free”!
The masters of Hotel Europa, a branch of the New World Order hotel group, do not allow guests to leave. If you complain too loudly, you are taken to the basement, never to be seen again.
