David Bowie:

Pressure, pushing down on me
Pressing down on you, no man ask for
Under pressure, that burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets

Bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah
Bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah

That’s okay
It’s the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming, “Let me out!”
Pray tomorrow takes me higher
Pressure on people, people on streets

For pressure substitute education.

The UK has imported the American ‘get into debt’ to escape stacking shelves system of education.

Kids are bullied by schools to make the school look good.

They are bullied by teachers to make the teacher look good.

Down with the capitalist education system, and all its teet suckers!

“Let the kids out!”

About leninnightingale

A nurse who for decades challenged the nursing establishment, echoing the voices of the silent many- the downtrodden nurses, students, care assistants, patients, and relatives that the 'system' overlooks. This site will present issues that many fear to engage in, prefering to believe what they are told by the Government's 'Ministry of Truth' (i.e. 'Lies').

You cannot flog a dead course down an academic route. Not all can be academics/ rocket scientists. For whose benefit is pressure being applied onto the young? Allow people to be who they are.
